Nine directors, elected by the residents to serve two-year terms, share responsibility for the smooth operation and management of Spanish Trails in accordance with Florida Statute 718 and the Bylaws and Declarations of Spanish Trails. Each director serves at large while having express responsibility for residents in one of nine zones. The Board president is elected by the Board, and the Board also appoints the recording secretary, treasurer, and social chair. Spanish Trails employs one part-time person to assist the Board administratively.
